O.A.S.I.S. is an acronym for "Older Adults Still In Service." If you are 60 years of age or older, married or single, you will not want to miss this wonderful department within our church body for those who are in the prime of their lives! Fellowship time, group discussion, and regularly scheduled activities are a strong part of this ministry to seniors. What legacy will you leave to your children and grandchildren? Paul’s example in Philippians can be ours through the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus can make the difference in overcoming attacks of poor health, financial difficulties, family stress, and loneliness. Accept the challenge as a believer to serve and minister to others. Make the O.A.S.I.S. Ministry a part of your walk with the Lord!
purpose
“Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.” Ps. 71:18
The O.A.S.I.S. Ministry has as its purpose to serve and not to be served. We believe God is calling us to take His love in concrete ways to the unchurched senior adults in our community, as well as to extend the LOVE of God to those within the church. These goals will be accomplished through regularly planned activities, with anticipated result of God’s blessing and people coming to Christ and the church. By-products of these activities will be spiritual growth, and social and recreational development.
